The Designer

Award winning Designer Diana Toscano is committed to the traditional art of dressmaking. From Fashion Designer roots in Sicily, Italy, Diana has continued to work in the tradition of Couture passed down to her from her Mother and Great Aunt.. A slower paced approach to fashion, where each piece is designed and made for the individual, using the utmost quality and skill to create a one off a kind.

While completing a Visual Arts in Fine Art Degree she began to use her knowledge of sewing and construction to create sculptural works using fabric. A short stint as a freelance textile designer followed where Diana was introduced to the fashion textile industry.  Inspired to create, she returned to creating gowns made from beautiful fabrics.  Word of mouth quickly transformed from favours for friends to creating the Toscano Bridal & Evening Bridal Atelier in 2006.

Nearing 15 years experience in the fashion industry,  Diana has been recognised locally and nationally for her expertise in both made to measure bridal and special occasion wear and custom designed wedding gowns.
